Amongster is a multi-disciplinary collaborative show featuring Lengger-based choreography, noise music and art-videos. Composed by Otniel Tasman, the principle of spontaneity and experimentation in this show is used to symbolize the dialogue of his Lengger body with the things he experienced during his work journey. Through this performance, Othniel brings a dialogue between identity and definition and boundaries, to the dynamics between tradition and modernity that have an impact on the practice he is engaged in and his personality. Othniel's bodily files will be dissected and crashed into destructive noise music. This collaboration forms a dialogic universe about Lengger, modernity, and Othniel's journey.
