In this work, Othniel seems to be looking back on his physical and spiritual journey to this day, seeing all the things that have been in dialogue and shaped his Lengger Lanang self. For this reason, apart from being important in terms of Otniel Tasman's personal work as a young choreographer, this work is also important because it sparks a dialogue about duality, gender, and how the other defines life as a human being.

Talking about Lengger's journey in interpreting himself, this work summarizes 10 years of Otniel Tasman's experience in the world of Lengger Lanang. A multi-disciplinary show about the body's odyssey and Lengger's identity amidst the tides of change. In three rounds, "Amongster: Voyage of Lengger" will present choreographic works, films, and compositions of noise music in one presentation that sparks dialogue about duality, gender, and how the other defines life as a human being.
